Niger Wife Residence Permit in Nigeria – ​If you’re a foreign woman Getting to a Nigerian citizen—commonly referred to as a “Niger Wife”—you will be eligible to apply for a residence permit in Nigeria. This permit allows you to reside in Nigeria indefinitely but does not grant the right to work.​ Of which foreign woman will be issued a Green CERPAC card.

Application Procedure for Niger Wife Residence Permit

1. Eligibility

  • Legally married to a Nigerian citizen.​
  • Possess a valid international passport with at least six months’ validity.​
  • No Criminal record
  • Must be in Good Health Condition

2. Required Documents

  • Formal Application Letter: Addressed to the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) requesting a residence permit.​
  • Completed Form IMM22: Submit in triplicate with three recent passport-sized photographs.​
  • Marriage Certificate: Proof of legal marriage to a Nigerian citizen.​
  • Letter of Invitation: From your Nigerian husband.​
  • Evidence of Means of Livelihood: Demonstrating financial stability.​
  • Police Clearance Certificate: From your country of residence.​
  • Medical Certificate: Confirming good health status.​
  • CERPAC Form: Completed and submitted as part of the application process.

3. Application Process

  • Submit all required documents to the nearest Nigeria Immigration State Command  >>> See List HERE
  • Undergo biometric data capture, if required.​
  • Await processing and approval of your residence permit.​

3. IMPORTANT NOTICE

  • Renewal of the CERPAC green card is applicable.
  • The residence permit allows for indefinite stay in Nigeria but does not permit employment.​
  • Ensure all documents are authentic and accurately completed to avoid delays.​
  • Processing times can vary; it’s advisable to apply well before your current visa expires.
